Training Philosophy

Strength is a much bigger component of our lives than we think. Most daily activities, from carrying groceries, to hiking, to playing a sport, involve some amount of strength. By increasing the strength in the muscles that perform those movements, we can make those daily activities easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Resistance training in some form is one of the most effective ways to build strength and muscle, and I fully believe that in doing so you can feel more capable and continue to do the activities that you enjoy.

All personal training is accompanied by dietary guidance, technique evaluation, and workout education. I want you to have the best possible chance of being successful, both during the sessions and in other areas of your life. You will get familiar with the different types of training and exercise equipment, as well as how to properly fuel your body.
